About speedtypingtest.app

speedtypingtest.app is a free, simple typing test. It's made in Denmark to be fast, clean and easy to use on any device.

Everything runs in your browser. What you type is never uploaded, and there's no account to create. The word lists are our own, and the tests are built from scratch.

The site currently offers timed typing tests in English and Danish, plus a 10-key test for the numeric keypad. More languages and tests are on the way.

Colour themes

Besides our own Calm palette, you can choose themes based on these open palettes, each released under the MIT licence: Solarized by Ethan Schoonover, Nord by Arctic Ice Studio, Gruvbox by Pavel Pertsev and Catppuccin by the Catppuccin team. A few shades are adjusted slightly so all text meets accessibility contrast guidelines.
